what is the Run?
The Beaumont Spirit Run is an annual event that benefits all 10 schools in
the Beaumont Unified School District. Since 2010, the Pass area community
has gathered in the fall to participate in the event, which includes a 1k
kids run, 5k run/walk/stroller, and 10k competitive run. From parents and
grandparents who walk the course to serious runners determined to win, they
have a common goal – to support our schools.

In our first year, the Beaumont Spirit Run presented each of nine schools a
check for $1313. In our second year, we included Glen View High School and each
of the ten schools received a check on average of $1832. The money was
distributed to the PTA's and ASB's of each school who had the opportunity to use
the money where it was most needed. Beaumont Spirit Run proceeds funded
student-focused programs, including:
* A reading club
* Family learning night
* Citizenship awards
* "Friday Night Live"
* A "Turkey Trot" run
* "The Imagination Machine"
* and other enriching
While raising money for underfunded programs, the Beaumont Spirit Run unites
the community and creates a celebration focused on fitness and healthy living.
Our 2013 Goal: $3000 per school
