In our first year, the Beaumont Spirit Run presented each of nine schools a check for $1313. In our second year, we included Glen View High School and each of the ten schools received a check on average of $1832. The money was distributed to the PTA’s and ASB’s of each school who had the opportunity to use the money where it was most needed. Beaumont Spirit Run proceeds funded student-focused programs, including:

       * After-school running clubs

       * A reading club

       * Family learning night

       * Citizenship awards

       * “Friday Night Live” activities

       * A “Turkey Trot” run

       * “The Imagination Machine”

       * and other enriching assemblies


While raising money for underfunded programs, the Beaumont Spirit Run unites the community and creates a celebration focused on fitness and healthy living.  In 2016 the event generated over $7000 donated to the Beaumont Schools.

Don’t like to run, but want to support our schools? You can donate directly to a school in the Beaumont Unified School District or sponsor a participant.  Donations to the Rotary Club of Beaumont Foundation which handles such funds are tax deductible.  If you want to make a donation to the general Beaumont Spirit Run fund… Contact us!
